I keep hearing rumors of the University of Oklahoma starting a CRNA program in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Every time I hear these rumors I go searching for something official but can never find anything. The one that I heard today is they are suppose to start for 2015. Can anyone that is in the know let me know if this is nothing but rumors or if there is some truth to it?

I wish they would! I am in Tulsa, and would love to have a local option once I get to that point in my carrier (I have a long time to go!)
I am from BA too, BTW :)
I would love for there to be an in state program, but at least TCU and Newman University have training sites in Tulsa. I work at Hillcrest and see the residents from TCU all the time. It has become my number one school.

We don't need anymore anesthesia schools. The market is flooded as is. As for OU having a CRNA school...well I highly doubt it since Jane Finch is the ASA president and is affiliated with OU.
