University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) CRNA May 2025 start

Updated:   Published

Hi all ! I just wanted to make a group to see who's all applying to the UNCG CRNA program set to start in May of 2025!  I submitted my application in June and interviewed on Day 2 of interviews in the beginning of July and received an acceptance email from the graduate college a week later!! Very excited to start and looking forward to meeting more nurses going through the process!

I interviewed on Tuesday!

Hey,’ congratulations. That's very exciting.

I have applied for the Summer 2025 CRNA program at UNCG. Has anyone who applied heard back for an interview? I know the application deadline is the 15th of October. Is it possible for the admission officers to send out an invite before the deadline?

Hey James! They have been interviewing since July! It's been a rolling admission so far with 20 people in the cohort so far so yes!

Hey, GypsyRN33

Thank You for your reply. I got an email this evening for an interview. But it says the slots are complete, and I cannot sign up for interview dates from Signup Genius. I sent an email to the concerned person. Is it usual that the slots are full? Would they result in a lower chance of me getting an interview, and would delayed dates affect the probability of being accepted? As I heard, the program application type is rolling.

I think it's just a busy time right now with applications being submitted. They'll open up more slots I'm sure. I'd just contact whoever reached out for the interview and let them know you can't sign up. I don't think it would have any effect on being accepted.

Does anyone know how many slots are available for 2025? I had no idea this was a rolling admission, and feel a little hopeless now.

There are a total of 40 slots for 2025. There are 20 people in the cohort so far. Have you applied? I encourage you to still apply if you haven't already.

Thank you, I am hoping to submit today. Multiple applications due all around this time frame, so my references have had a hard time keeping up. We'd love to move to the Carolinas and this is my #1 so really hoping this works out.

Where are we supposed to submit shadow experience records? The website says two shadow experiences are required, but the application had no where to submit anything? Thanks in advance

So others might of done it differently, but I just put it in a section on my CV since there is no spot in the application for it. However, when you upload your documents I think there's a section for additional documents where you can upload it there as well.

Just got an invite to interview. Applied last week on Monday (9/9), received an interview invite today (9/21)
