Hello! I wanted to start this for those that applied to the CRNA program this year. Has anyone received an email update from the program recently? Good luck to everyone!

@Lord have MRSA did you take any graduate classes from the U of M prior to getting in? If not can you share what you did to boost your application?
I have not taken any graduate classes. I took four undergraduate classes last year either to retake classes in order to boost my GPA, or taking them as prerequisites.
GPA: 3.4 Undergrad (Got my BSN in my undergrad degree)
Certifications: CCRN, CMC, TNCC
Over 2 years MICU experience, 500+ hours of precepting, co-chair of skin care committee, chair of research council

Hi ?? I just opened the “we regret to inform you” email. I’m guessing we have all received them. Sorry friend, hopefully you have other applications out this year. If not, I would feel pretty good about making the back up list!! We just need to keep at it!! Hang in there!

Our ICU takes everything, medical, cardiac, neuro, surgicals etc. I have my BSN and CCRN. I precept both students and new hires, and am on a quality improvement council and clinical action team. So Sorry to those who didn’t get an interview ? keep on pushing!

Back when in nursing school volunteered in leadership roles in our schools SNA. No grad classes or additional certifications.
