I noticed that the application for Spring 2026 is now open on NursingCAS. I couldn't find a group so far on here for the Spring 2026 start date and figured I'd start one so as the due date approaches, we can all ask each other questions!

CVICU 1.5 years. 3.72 GPA science GPA higher but not exact. 50 hours shadowing. CCRN. 2 leadership awards. I am turning my interview down I just got accepted elsewhere, good luck to everyone!

We want to inform you that all applications are currently being reviewed holistically and as a group. Given the unprecedented number of submissions received, the review process will take approximately 6-8 weeks.

Please bear with us as we work through this thorough process. It is normal for applicants to be at varying points in the review pipeline during this time, so we appreciate your patience. If you are verified in NursingCAS, but are missing a Verification of Employment (VOE), you will be notified and given time to submit the necessary documentation. 

All updates will be communicated via your email in NursingCAS, and you will not need to use your Canelink portal or credentials until after a decision has been issued to you. If you have already inquired about your status, we kindly ask that this communication serve as your response. We are working to issue decisions within the indicated timeline. Of course, should you have additional questions please email [email protected].

Congrats! Do you mind me asking who sent the email? I see that many people received an email on Friday from UM, but I never got it.

Thank you. It's over Zoom. The email comes from University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies. 

I feel like they're probably reviewing applications and sending invites as they go 🤷🏻‍♀️

7 years RN, 5 years in ICU, masters, I believe my GPA is 3.67, and I completed several shadowing hours.

Hey did you have your CCRN? Also around when did you submit your application. Just trying to see if they're going through it in order of submission.
