University of Miami ABSN Spring 2023

Published

Hello everyone-

I did not see a thread for the UM ABSN 2023 Spring program, so I thought I would start one. I submitted my application on March 29th and just waiting. Where are you in your application process?  Have any of you been accepted yet?  Please post and share our journey...

I just requested.

I'm in "the University of Miami-ABSN Previous, Current, and Future Cohorts" too. In case you want to join the official UM ABSN group.

OK cool. Thanks

Hi I am thinking about applying to this program but I’m from up north. So the idea of rent is stressing me out, Is anyone coming from out of state? If so, how do you plan on housing?

thanks

Hi, Some of us are. I'm coming from New York City. I'm also working to save up for rental and applying for scholarships.

I’m also coming from out of state as well

Okay that made me feel more confident haha thank you for answering!

I'm applying from out of state too.

How long after getting an email that your application was ready for review did you receive an acceptance?

hi, I received my acceptance two months after.

I just got my acceptance letter as well!

Congratulation!

Still waiting on an acceptance/denial. I've started to lose hope and applied to other programs for next Summer. Does anyone have advice on jobs that I should look into to hold me over until then?

Hey, don't get discouraged and I totally understand where you're coming from. I went back to working in retail so that I can save for school.  Also not sure if you're planning on taking any loans out but look into Direct plus loan from Federal Student Aid.
