University of Miami ABSN Spring 2017

I was just looking for a thread for the spring 2017 cohort if people have started hearing back. I applied last week and just waiting for one of my transcripts to come in the other being verified at the moment. Hopefully it'll be verified before the deadline aug 15th. I was gonnna apply for the summer start but then I called the school and they asked me about my stats and told me to still apply so I gave it a shot. Anyone in the same boat or anyone accepted yet, if yes, what are your stats?? thanks!!

nope, no news coming my way yet. hopefully we'll hear something by end of next week.

Hi guys!! just wondering where everyone is coming from? I called the school today and they said that my application is under review and I should hear something by the end of this week! Keeping my fingers crossed! Anyone know what the other universities add up to other than the tuition ($40,000). I am from Jersey so if I get accepted, I would need to make the big move. I called housing but no one answered. They do have on-campus housing available and other residential outside of the university but they give preference to freshmen and sophomores lol

Hey everyone I was accepted Aug 15th! Would love to be in the facebook group!! Coming from Seattle so I am also looking for a roommate/ interested in any advice about housing :) I just paid my deposit as well and wondered if they are going to send out any admissions package or something similar, also does anyone know anything about the pre immersion course? Thanks! Can't wait to meet you all!

For anyone wondering if they got a decision, try this. On canelink go to student center, then click communication center on the right. I was playing around on the website and noticed that when I got to that page there was a 1 under it. When you click that, mine showed up as "undergrad decision mailed" under "completed communications." I clicked the link that went along with it and I got my admissions letter. So weird how it still hasn't showed up under the application status section on canelink. Hope this helps anyone thats still waiting for their decision!
