Has anyone else applied for the May 2013 cohort? I applied this week and am awaiting my transcripts/letters of recommendation to be received.

Hi everyone! I just got accepted to the summer accelerated nursing program! I received the acceptance letter in the mail last Friday and I completed my application within the first week of January. I am really excited to meet everyone! Congrats to everyone that has been accepted so far. I recently joined the Facebook group and I agree with everyone that creating a separate group for the May 2013 class would be great idea! Has anybody figured out where they are going to live yet? I'm debating between on-campus and off-campus housing.

Congratulations future_cane02!! I have no idea where I'm going to live but if anyone needs a roommate let me know!!

I made a group... It's university of miami-Accelerated nursing program summer 2013 let me know if you can't find it!

Congrats future_cane02!! :)

@k.waks, was it a page you created? or group?

Also, I'm going to need a roommate as well!

Also, does anyone know the actually date the program starts???

I made a group

@jpark, no, I'm from Southern California, so I'm gearing up for the big move. :) Has anyone who has been accepted heard back any information about housing/loans/class start dates? Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted so far!

And I'm definitely looking for a roommate as well!

Thank you 802! Did you pay your deposit yet? I just paid mine online and it gave me some more information for on-campus housing. I'm from Vegas! When do you plan on moving out there?

Thanks k.waks and jpark31!! I am actually looking for a roommate as well. It would be ideal to live with other nursing students as opposed to non-nursing students. @k.waks, I looked for the Facebook group that you created, but I could not find it. All I could find was a Facebook page.

I just emailed the housing office at UM today and they said on-campus housing applications will be available on April 1st. Is anyone planning to live on-campus?? Also, is anyone else not from Florida planning to take your car? I'm wondering if it's possible to live on campus and have no car. Cause I know they have a metro system there. I just don't know how convenient it is to get to and from clinical sites.

Hey jpark31. I paid my deposit a couple of days ago. I think I'm going to move out a few days before orientation/start of school (it also depends on what kind of housing I get).
