I just got accepted for the Fall 2016 FNP program at U of M too. I've heard that clinicals should be coordinated way in advance of you starting them (especially peds & OB). Runnergal are you going full or part time?
Awesome! Maybe we can help each other throughout the program!! I have read that about clinicals any school you go to. I am going full time. What about you LimeintheCoconut?
I'm going full time as well. We should definitely team up for social support during our journey, as I've heard that is a crucial element for FNP programs. I've heard lots of other things about the program from several FNPs I work with (too long to type the info on a message board though) and would love to share with you the input they provided me as well as talk about our concerns, apprehension, and excitedness regarding graduate school in general. Maybe we can get together for a drink or dinner sometime soon and get to know one another. Message me if you're interested, would love to meet and get to know a fellow student FNP going through the same program at the same time as I before we actually get started with the nitty gritty. Message me if you'd be interested in coordinating a meet & greet and we'll make it happen.
I just found out we can't send private messages due to a minimum of 15 posts a piece. Since we both don't have that amount, contact me via email at [email protected] and we'll go from there. Thanks!
