University of Massachusetts Boston (UMass Boston) ABSN - Fall 2024

I didn't see a thread for UMass Boston's ABSN program for Fall 2024, so I figured I'd start one! Has anyone heard back? I know decisions are normally released about a month after the May 1st deadline, so I'm thinking it should be any day now.

Decisions might be out by next week. Did you apply to other schools?

Good to know - did you hear that from someone in admissions? Just trying to gauge when I should be expecting an email to check the portal.

I applied to UMass, Northeastern, and MGH, and I'm considering MCPHS since they extended their deadline to June 15th and I haven't heard from UMass. Got into Northeastern and MGH but they're just sooo expensive it feels kind of hard to rationalize. What about you?

Yes, I spoke to the undergraduate admissions office a week ago and they said that decisions will be sent out starting the first week of June. I applied to a couple of ABSN programs in Oklahoma and I am also think about applying to MidAmerican Nazarene ABSN program in Kansas but I honestly don't want to move. 
The costs for northeastern and MGH are outrageously high but some people have attended those programs.

It's great to see such a supportive community here. I know the waiting can be nerve-wracking, especially with other offers on the table.

Futurenurse349, congratulations on getting into Northeastern and MGH! Those are incredible achievements. I totally understand the concern about costs – it's definitely a big factor to consider.

Nonizondi, thanks for sharing the update from admissions. It's helpful to know that decisions should be coming out soon. It's clear that everyone here is passionate about their future in nursing, and no matter which program you end up in, you'll all make amazing nurses.
