Hi nurses/future nurses, just wanted to check and see if anyone has heard from KU Med nurse residency program. The application said after Feb 11, so I was wondering if they have started contacting anyone yet for interviews. Also, has anyone heard reviews (good or bad) about working at KU Med in general or for the residency program?

What unit did you apply to? I had an interview and heard back about a week later for a shadowing opportunity

MTICU and CTSICU. The CTSICU said that they like to do shadowing and I didn't hear back from them about that, so I'm assuming that they are out. The MTICU doesn't do shadowing from what I understand and I am still waiting to hear from them.

I know HR is super busy so give it a few more weeks and then give them a follow up call maybe? Good luck with everything :)
