nvm, I was just trying to sign in at the undergraduate page instead of the graduate! I am still assuming it's a rejection since a few other people said they heard it is full, but nice to not be left completely hanging yet.

I emailed yesterday. They told me again decisions would be out in a few weeks. I didn't mention anything I had heard or knew, just asked when I'd hear back

For people who have applied multiple places- does anyone have suggestions or recommendations for increasing your science GPA? I was thinking about taking additional science classes to give it a bump. But I didn't know where to start

My GPA is pretty good, but I have been retaking a few classes because my chemistry courses expired. NursingCAS averages instead of replaces, but some places will replace the OG grade. I'd start with retaking anything you got a C in, especially chemistry courses. I also took graduate level Anatomy & Physiology to try and look a little better. But I'm also two rejections in so 🤷‍♀️

I emailed yesterday asking for an update and if/when the candidates who haven't had updates will receive notice of rejection and I received an email today from the nurse anesthesia department that all decisions are being finalized and notifications will be sent out? I don't know what to think anymore because someone was told the other day all spots have been fulfilled and I've accepted now I didn't get in but this update directly from the program today saying decisions are still being sent out instead of just telling me I didn't get in or that all 20 spots are taken now make that unclear.

addendum: I almost just want to be blunt and mention a rumor of all spots being fulfilled already or ask if applications are still being considered but I'm nervous 🫠 I've already emailed them twice this cycle for an update so don't want do overdo it but also I'm in FL and I need to know what I'm doing with my lease by the end of next week so kinda on a time crunch here

I've been taking college courses since sophomore year of high school and my GPA is average (around a 3.5). I took Chem 1 two years ago (a mini Summer term.. don't recommend btw LOL) and got a C, but then moved on to take Chem 2 the next full term semester for a better grade. I have thought if I needed a GPA booster I would take an advanced Physio class but now I don't know if that would be enough

I was straight forward when I emailed them yesterday. I mentioned somebody else reached out and was told all spots are filled and what that meant for those of us with no status change and if we should take it as a denial. No email back yet but I'll update if I hear anything. Pretty sure it's true that spots are filled but I would still like to know where that leaves us.

Anyone waiting for decisions waitlists are not a bad answer or a no! It is also more common than people think for waitlist candidates to move up. This is a year round process with schools around the country interviewing and accepting at different times, meaning people move on and off lists of acceptance often based on price, location, school rep, personal conflicts/commitments etc.. I have heard of colleagues and other applicants moving up and off waitlists, and even this week myself came off a waitlist for another school in chicago. It happens. Stay hopeful and keep your head up!

I think most of us here would love even a waitlist update. Most of us are upset because we're still under review when A LOT of people have gotten an answer. Whether that's an acceptance, denial or waitlist. I'd love any response at this point. Being under review for over a month has been really frustrating to say the least. Especially since I'm out of state and the program starts in August

100% understand your feelings and I hope answers come soon. Just giving hope to those who end up waitlisted. Not trying to belittle any feelings. The application process is horrible for the waiting and myself being rejected and waitlisted at multiple schools I have been in the waiting game plenty also! Wishing the best for all candidates in all their application endeavors.

Hey everybody! I received an email back today regarding what it means if you have received no status change in your portal. The email I received stated that a "complete and under review" status in the portal is NOT to be taken as a denial. They said they are still in the process of reviewing applications and no final decision has been made yet for a small portion of the applicant pool! So I know we've heard lots of different things but it's not a denial and you're still being considered! Thought I should share to help ease some minds a little bit! 🤍 best of luck to everybody on this program and all the others you apply to!
