I chose the virtual interview last November because flights and lodging would have cost me around $2,000. I was initially concerned that this might put me at a disadvantage, but I was accepted.
I also do not believe the school covers travel or lodging expenses for interviews.

3.72 CGPA, took and passed Biochem
3+ years in the MICU, competent in only the CCRT machine & ultrasound guided IV insertion.
Preceptor, Charge Nurse, ANA mentor, AACN Ambassador, Co-Chair of my Unit's committee.
have my CCRN, TNCC, Sedation Nurse Certification
Attended lots of conferences
Participated in research study for Remodulin drug used in pulmonary hypertension.
24 hours shadowing experience.

Sure - GPA 3.79, science GPA 3.9. Good score on CCRN, no GRE. Nurse for about 8 years. ED, travel ICU, then staff ICU. Some devices a few years ago, but mostly MICU recently. Part of 2 committees, preceptor, CRRT educator. Mission trip in the past, and currently volunteer at an org.
