University of Cincinnati 2017 Spring FNP

Hey all! I just received my acceptance into the University of Cincinnati's online FNP for Spring of 2017! I can't believe it! I was wondering if anyone else here will be joining me? I'd love to connect before classes start.

Did any of you that were accepted to Cincinnati have any MSN core classes that you were able to transfer in? I applied for Fall 2017 FNP online and I'm trying to transfer 12 credits (adv patho, adv health assessment, theory and research), which is their max amount of credits to transfer in. Just curious if anyone else had transferred in successfully. How's the program going for you this far? Thanks!

I got your pm! The site won't allow me to answer back for some reason. I am unsure if the requirements are different for psych. I am doing Family and I got in with a cumulative GPA of 3.6. They didn't even look at just my nursing GPA. I was a little worried, because science was my lowest GPA breakdown, but my advisor told me that they really look at mathematics and mine was a 3.9. My friend got into the family program as well and his cummulative GPA was a 2.7. Just have good references in place and really talk up your experience and how it will benefit you in the program. You'll do great!

Hi! I l know that this is an old post but I was wondering if you could tell more about your friend? Was he/she in a probation period when accepted? My GPA is 2.8 and I have more than 3 yrs of RN experience.
