University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Nursing BSN-DNP in Midwifery

Published

Hi there,

I know the very first cohort for this postgrad program started in June, but I was curious if anyone was accepted. I will be getting my BSN in December, and plan to take the NCLEX as soon as possible so that I can apply for UCSF for 1 March.

Can anyone give me an idea how to be competitive (if you've gotten in)? Or give me an idea what to expect from the application to acceptance process?

Also, are their any men in this first cohort?

Hi, any updates on this? Did you end up applying or interviewing with UCSF? Best of luck!

Hi, so the midwifery program at UCSF doesn't exist for the time being, as they are working on having it be accredited for a DNP (it was previously a Masters program). I am just holding my breath and hoping I can even get a L&D job as a new BSN grad in the meantime.
