Hi! Just starting this thread for University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) MECN 2025. Good luck!
Well they only admit 70 people a cohort, I am still awaiting decisions from other programs. I knew there was an issue when they delayed the decision date. I wish I would have been told in February, which was mentioned. I won't give up though and you shouldn't either. If it's your passion to be a nurse you will become one.
Hi everyone, first of all congratulations to everyone that was admitted into this cohort. UCLA is extremely competitive. I was denied as well and read my application status just now. Don't get discouraged and continue making it happen, you've gotten past the challenges of undergrad, prerequisites, and healthcare experience so far despite all the obstacles you've faced in your personal life. It will happen with God's timing.
I had committed to Columbia two days ago because I had to make a decision since their deposit was due Friday. So regardless, my seat would've been given to someone else even if I were admitted. I'm native to LA so it would've been a dream to attend UCLA.
best of luck to everyone on their journey!

How did you check your portal? Just how you would regularly login?
Congrats to those who got in! Those who didn't, do not get discouraged. It can be difficult to consider waiting for a year, but it might be worth it to reapply if you're able to! It's not all about grades or GPA, it might be beneficial to maybe review your statements, or maybe add a little more experience that can apply to nursing. It doesn't necessarily have to be medical-related experience. Still, something like a customer service job does translate to nursing in the sense of patient interaction, which is something they would also look for.

I never got anything physical through mail
I'm not sure if anyone else is running into this issue but when I try to login into my portal, it says my account info is wrong and when I try to reset my password, it says the email was never associated with the portal. I've logged in before so I'm just kind of confused why it's suddenly not letting me login.
