University of California, Irvine (UCI) Master's Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN) 2022

Hello all! 

I didn't see a thread for UCI MEPN 2022 so thought I would create one. At this point, the work is done and applications are submitted...but there's plenty to still agonize about (the 3-5% acceptance rate, for one). Does anyone have intel on whether there will be interviews, and if so, when they might be? The website says acceptance notifications will be sent "starting in March", but I haven't found anything else more concrete.

I see. I just can’t help but feel a little down since I’m just finding out about this all now. Hopefully they’ll still interview more people or just accepting me without an interview would be nice too LOL.

Did anyone else get a financial aid email today? Asking about documents it needed to submit for the financial aid application? Curious too see why they asked, hoping it tells me something about my application decision LOL

I got the email today as well. Unfortunately, it’s no indication of acceptance but I sure wish it was LOL

Hi everyone! Did anyone else not get any emails from UCI since submitting the application? I submitted my app in November, and have not received any emails from them ?

I have not, assuming I'm on the denial list ?

That's discouraging ? I've been pretty much assuming the same.

Yeah..I honestly did my research about their acceptance rate after applying and was surprised ☹️ Their program is super competitive.

Haha I just noticed you're also on the UCSF thread... Did you also get an interview for UCI's program?

I applied to JHU's program and UCSF's program. Only got lucky with an interview invitation at UCSF thus far. Hbu?

 Haha! You are correct LOL. I am also on the UCSF thread. I did get an interview but UCI's cohort is so small.

I applied to Azusa Pacific, Western U, UCLA, and UCI.

I got into Azusa and got an early acceptance opportunity invite for Western U. I have my fingers crossed for UCLA!
