Nurses Residency

Published

Hey everyone! This is the new thread for the January Winter 2023 admissions. Anyone else super anxious or is it just me?

My GPA was 3.7 when I calculated it, now my status has been updated and I called them and they told me my GPA is 3.67 is anyone experiencing that? I have lost hope but I am trusting God for a miracle

Same thing happened to me. My GPA went down after I contacted admissions. I thought I had a 3.9 but based on their assessment I'm in the 3.8 range. All we can do is continue to have faith. There is plenty of time left in the application cycle. ?

That's true if is the will of God it will come to pass let keep praying.

And when I see the GPA cut off here then I start to wonder but God is in control

And I have been added to the waitlist

It’s so heartbreaking

I have been so down since this evening…I already booked an appointment with an advisor to know which courses they used in my evaluation.

I know it's so frustrating but let's be hopeful they might increase the seat.

Canada have shortage of nursed I don't know they are making it hard with admissions my sister got in the states with 3.5 I don't know what's wrong in canada the frustration to get an education and the program of your choice is overwhelming

Seems like nothing is happening today.

I heard that the cutoff is 3.95 and every one below has be waitlisted

Wow that's too much

Hopefully with time they start to reduce the GPA cutoff. If 3.95 is the cap that would be unreal.

It makes sense that they place anyone below 3.95 in waitlist until they've reviewed all applications, after which a final cap will be set which I believe will be below 3.95.
