Hey everyone! This is the new thread for the January Winter 2023 admissions. Anyone else super anxious or is it just me?

Hello Everyone, please  does anyone here knows anyone been admitted with 3.67 GPA?

Haven’t heard anything yet. I haven’t gotten on the waitlist either. My application status still says currently being reviewed by the faculty! ?‍ I checked off the diverse qualifications option, so possibly it takes longer cuz there’s more to go through? Not sure. Think it’s worth a call? I’m from BC so the more notice to move, the better.

Same here, Sarah, though I don’t have the diverse qualifications part (as I recall…). When I talked to admissions this morning, they said they should be reviewing my application soon (so all out-of-province applications I would guess?). Totally relate to the having time to move piece too, I’m also from BC.

Same here. I called yesterday and they didn't even calculate my GPA yet. Still processing my transfer credits for my highschool bio course. She said I will hear something anytime october ?

Totally right! Glad we are in the same boat. I wonder if out of province applicants are in a different group. They probably have so many seats for Alberta residents and so many for out of province applicants! Really hoping we hear soon ??

Oh my! Does your application status say the same thing as mine? 
I guess we just have to hurry up and wait LOL.

Antifrimp my GPA is 3.66. Are you degree holder or a transfer?

@Sarah Pearce mine says that

We are currently assessing one or more of your courses to determine whether it can be used as one of the required courses for this program. 

Your Student Centre will be updated as soon as the assessment is completed. Do you know what is your GPA at least? Am I the only one who doesn't know? ?

Yes I am a degree holder. Anifrimp I pray to. I am so worried that my GPA might not be enough. Last year I know the GPA was ridiculous
