Hi everyone! I've been following the UofC January 2021 thread and thought I'd start one for 2022 applicants!

All my transcripts were recently received and now I'm just waiting to hear back about my admission status. I'm so nervous ahhh! Has anyone heard back yet?

Congratulations to those who got offers. Such a relief!

Has anyone being accepted below 3.9? Please share and if you have other relevant information has to what mode admission office is using to give offers. Please share. Thank you.

Hey @rntos,

I emailed admissions a couple weeks ago and was told that currently the admission average is set very high because they start by accepting people with the highest GPA. She said the average should go down a bit as they begin accepting people with lower GPA’s, as long as there are still spots left LOL. Was told that most offers of admission go out between mid September to mid November. I certainly don’t have a 3.9 so really hoping some lower GPA’s get in too ?

Interesting! I got the same response as well when I called admissions.

If it helps, last year the final cut off for degree holder program was about 3.6, but each year is different depending on how many seats are available in the program.

I have calculated mine as 3.8 but I heard nothing so far it still says my application is being evaluated ?

@ChickenNuggets99 Have you tried to call the admissions office. They are pretty responsive.

Has anyone else been accepted into the transfer route? I'm still waiting and my application remains blank. I have a feeling everyone should know if they are either on the waitlist or admitted by the end of this week?

I've been put on the waitlist. Anyone know what the current cut-off for admission is for Degree Holder program?

What’s your GPA? I was told they accepting applications between 3.9-3.8. It seems the cut-off will be higher this year. I haven’t heard anything about my application yet..

My GPA is 3.71, last year the cut off was 3.6, hopefully it'll be closer to the same this year. What's your GPA? Your application is still being evaluated?
