Hi everyone! Applications for UAMS CRNA for fall 2024 have opened. I was looking for a forum for this application cycle but didn't see one and decided to start one! Planning on applying and was seeing if anyone else was as well. Good luck to everyone!

Those that have applied, how long was your professional goals statement? I read on the UAMS website that the word max is 250 words but there's not a max on NursingCAS.

Did you send transcripts to UAMS directly or just thru NursingCas? I see website says transcripts need to be sent to UAMS but they are already on NursingCas.

I was wondering that myself. I called and left a message so hopefully we'll get some clarification soon.

I saw the thing after I submitted my application. I sent them an email about it and followed up with a call. I was told all the required documents goes thru NursingCAS. After about a week I saw that all the required documentation was cleared off my "To Do list" on the school's graduate portal.

For the verification of hours form, did you attach it to your application or mail it in?

I am not aware/did not see any verification of hours form both on NursingCAS and UAMS requirements page. I am curious, where did you see or get that information?

If you go to https://nursing.uams.edu/future-students/programs/DNP/nurse-anesthesia/

under the critical care experience there's a section stating we need to verify the 2000 hours. There's a form to print and have your hospital HR notarize.

Hi, thank you for providing the link. I just read through it and my understanding of it is that this verification will be required after you are already a student and prior to registering for any practicum course. I will get that done after acceptance ?
