university of alabama pmhnp Spring 2024

Anyone interested or applied to the university of Alabama Spring 2024 psychiatric mental health nurse Practitioner  program? I applied, received an invitation for a interview, completed my interview waiting to hear back now! Any reviews on the program? Anyone received an acceptance letter yet for Spring 2024?

Great! Do you have to fly in for orientation in January or are you local?

I would have to fly in.  I haven't received all of the information yet. They just sent me the information about the background check and drug test.  I assume I should get it once everything has resulted.   When is orientation? 

 

I've been getting information piece by piece.

I'm doing the dual program so I wonder if things will be different.

The dates are January 10-12th but they responded pretty quickly once I did the background check and everything else on castle branch

Looks like I'll see you at orientation! I booked my hotel, I'll be driving about 3 hours from the Atlanta area.

Yep! I have a little further to drive though.  I'm coming from Charlotte.  I was going to fly but decided to make a road trip out of it. I finally received the email for all of the requirements right before Christmas so the last couple of weeks have been hectic trying to get everything submitted.  But now I'm good to go!  Just met with the advisor yesterday.

That's awesome! I'm excited to start this journey! Can't wait to meet you guys in person. I'm flying from Charlotte tomorrow.
