Universal Training Institute in Perth Amboy, NJ

Has anyone attended Universal Training Institute in Perth Amboy, NJ? I am considering going to this this school because their schedule allows to to continue to work while going to school and they do not have a waiting list. I would have prefered to go to a county school, but I really don't want to wait so long and Monmouth county has a long wait list. Please, if someone can give me some information on their experience I would really appreciate it.

I completed school at UTI three months ago....I wouldnt wish that school on my worst enemy!!!!

I have to agree with coookie on UTI being unprofessional. I attended this school in 2013 and I wasn't happy on how the school was being run. Let me just say this the some of the staff is RUDE. Especially the director who doesn't know how to speak to adults without her not getting loud and ghetto. I wont be recommending this school to ANYONE

Im currently a student at UTI. Started January 2014 and I love the school. I also seen that the student who complain the most are the ones not capable of becoming nurses so they blame everyone but themselves. I recommend the school to anyone who is seriously interested in becoming a nurse!

Hi its going great! I graduate in November. You should go to the school and take a tour before you listen to all these crazy reviews lol. I did research before I went and also knew that the school would be open this long if it was as bad as people are saying. As you can see only the ones who have trouble are writing reviews but go look at all the graduates.

I was all to take the exam, I was browsing job sights for lpn jobs I like to see what the market is like for us going to newbies . I actually saw that uti are looking to hire lpn instructors. That has me concerned especially since in past reviews ppl have said their administration as sucks and there weren't any teachers one semester. The 100 dollar fee is high as well. Im also looking into Lincoln tech in edison.

Oh I see. That's not a good thing. :(. I once looked into Lincoln Tech and I remember it being around the same price as UTI. I'm in old bridge so Perth amboy is not far at all. But in MCC they have these non credit certificate programs if you are interested.. Thanks for replying :-)
