Universal Training Institute in Perth Amboy, NJ

Has anyone attended Universal Training Institute in Perth Amboy, NJ? I am considering going to this this school because their schedule allows to to continue to work while going to school and they do not have a waiting list. I would have prefered to go to a county school, but I really don't want to wait so long and Monmouth county has a long wait list. Please, if someone can give me some information on their experience I would really appreciate it.

Hi, I applied to the Monmouth County program, but apparently it takes up to 4 months just to get take the basic skills test! I was also looking into the program at Universal in Perth Amboy. Have you find out any info yet. I'm planning to call Monday.

I completed school at UTI three months ago....I wouldnt wish that school on my worst enemy!!!!

It's a horrible school. The director of the program changes grades from pAssing to failing. They give an exit exam that no one can pass. My sister has been in this school LpN program for two years. One semester she had to sit out because they did not have a professor to teach. The school is disorganized & the staff is unprofessional. Those that actually made it out can tell you the HELL they went through! don't do it!!!

What school did you decide to go to? and how is the program? thinking about attending UTI.
