Nursing Students Online Learning

I am trying to figure out....IF I decide to do this program, how can I know what classes will transfer over (the sciences)? I have one science I've already done, but I can take all of the rest at the local community college....but then, things are different. For instance, at UoWI, they say "Human Anatomy" and "Human Physiology". OK, here it's A&P. What does that count for, two classes? And do I need A&P 1 AND A&P2?? Really confused about that... and Microbial Survey, what the heck is that? Is that Microbiology? This is confusing because I wanna know what to take, and how many classes that's gonna count for at UoWI, if I go that route? ARGH~ who here has BTDT? LOL

Are you looking at their online BS to BSN program? I'm taking prerequisites for all nursing programs in general right now. Since I heard their program is real competitive, I'm keeping all of my options open.

Anyway, they want you to have a two semester course of A&P. Doesn't matter whether you do all anatomy first and then physiology second (as some colleges teach it like this) or A&P 1 and 2. It just must have a lab component for each course..

Yes, Microbial survey is Microbiology. You need a basic chemistry course, basic biology course and a Chemistry 1 course. (I believe the chemistry's are like an Intro course and chem 1. Atleast that's how I have to take them when comparing course descriptions with a local cc's list).

When in doubt, contact [email protected] Just email them the course number, number of credits and course description and they will tell you if it will transfer there and for what course.

If you are working towards the BS to BSN program, when are you trying to gain acceptance? I hope to have my prerequisites done so I can apply to the October 2007 program.

Anyway, pm me if you need any more help.
