Has anyone done this program? I'm looking into it and it seems great but there are hardly any updates reviews. Thanks!

It was fairly easy. You just need to fill out the application and have your transcript sent to them. It took about 2 weeks to receive the acceptance letter.

Yes, I am.
How is it? On the fence, but leaning more towards applying and going...

It's been good so far. Pretty similar to canurse's experience. I have not had any issues yet.
This is from a student, who just graduated from United States University."I have shared this all over. Now it's my turn to encourage you in this group.
When I first applied to USU I was told by other people who had never heard of the school to make sure its a accredited school. Are you sure it is a real school?
I must say to you all. Let your haters be your motivator. Because not only did this school help me with my education, prepared me for clinical. But now I carry the title of FNP certified. Hang in there you can do it. A big shout out to Marissa Henderson for keeping this page going with positive feedback.
That's all folks, now get back to studying"
Hello All,
I am moving and looking to transfer to another school for my FNP. I need to attend a school that will allow me to do clinical in other states. I am currently looking into USU's program. Looking for any pros/cons, and tips to those who are or have attended.
Thanks in advance,
Jess
I appreciate the advice and response from everyone and those who specifically answered my questions. This forum has been a gold mine for me. Those of you that's currently in the program please keep us posted on how your doing with the good and the bad experiences with the program. I am currently finishing up my BSN with Aspen and then I plan to apply to USU which I believe they have some connection is my understanding. I wish they had a bridge program because I have a B.A already in Sociology and an ADN in nursing so I will end up with two bachelor degrees. Well have an awesome day all.

The owner of Aspen Group, who owns Aspen University purchased US University. Their business plan seems sound. Valerie, my enrollment counselor was super helpful. After spending a week in coursework I didn't feel like USU was a good for for me. But that's just me. The platform is easy to navigate and the assignments are spread out so it's not overwhelming. I can't speak to what it's like later, but know a few people who passed boards the first time and had a great experience.

Hello,
I am trying to finalize my decision about United States University for attending the FNP program. Does anyone know if they have a bridge program for ADN nurses who have a BA in another field? Does anyone know of any Florida resident that has graduated from the USU FNP program and been able to get their license in Florida. I wanted to make sure that it is safe to enroll being a Florida resident myself and wondering what their experience was like getting licensure in Florida after graduation. Last time I checked I believe they were CCNE credentialed so no issue there. So if anyone can answer these questions, I would greatly appreciate it.
