I'm interested in doing the 30 unit option, besides APU and college of the desert are they're any other schools with these options? Is there a website besides allnursingschools.com because the site doesn't show all the schools. I live in Pomona, so maybe something close to home

A lot of schools in california offers the 30 unit option. Riverside Community COllege, Mt San Jacinto College, San bernardino Valley. If they offer LVN to RN programs, they usually also offer the 30 unit. As a heads up, be aware that you can not take that license to another state. That license is only good in california.

True but, until other states pass ratio laws (which seems unlikely)... why would you want to work in another state anyway? When you talk to travelling RN's they'll tell you about how high the patient loads are in other states, and that's why they always come back to California.
The only reason to move, IMHO is cheaper housing and cheaper cost of living but, you also don't make as much money in other states either. In a lot of cases, you can actually lose money even when it's cheaper because the pay is so much lower.
Because of California's ratio law, the only time I'll ever possibly move is when I'm ready to retire and don't have to work anymore.

Here's a list of all of the accredited schools in California:

As far as I know, all of them have to offer the 30 unit option as well as LVN-to-RN transition programs.
