Union University CRNA Interview

I recently submitted an application to Union and was hoping to find out more about their interview style. Any one heard or been to a Union interview in the past? Thanks in advance,

Got my call at 730 pm. She acted like they were calling more tomorrow. Congrats to all. We are going to be classmates! Anyone have kids or married. Im married with a 2 and 4 y/o relocating from Texas.

My stats were competitive. But it was my interview...I was stupidl nervous!!! oh well. Moving on to the next one :) good luck to all who did make it and keep the faith to the rest of us! Night.

My husband will be starting the CRNA program in January 2012 at Union and we will be relocating to Jackson from Louisville,KY. DOes anyone know anything about the area....and what are most ppl planning to do as far as housing? We were hoping to rent a house rather than an apartment , but I don't know anything about good or bad areas in town! Thanks so much and we look forward to meeting his future classmates :)

My wife and I will be relocating there from Tulsa. Have you guys found housing? I'm guessing that's what the November orientation time is for. We've been out there twice and seems like the area north of I-40 is nice. I also spoke with someone at Union seeking advice to wether we should live in Jackson or Memphis. Seems like a better idea to live in Jackson and commute. I do know (since we have family in Memphis) that Memphis can get ghetto in a hurry.

Anyway, looking forward to meeting your husband and doing CRNA school!

Excited to see that everyone is in the same boat. My wife, 2 kids, and I are coming down from Texas. We have been told to stay north of the interstate in Jackson for housing and schools. They also only recommended private schools for my daughter who is in kindergarten. That might get pretty pricey! We would like to find a house to rent when we come down for orientation. I am bringing the family so we can look at housing, schools, daycare, and jobs for my wife. Have yall made any progress with financial aid?
