Welcome to the site
Try the search facility as there are a few threads on the various recruiters. You are aware of retrogression and that you are affected and currently looking at a few years approx as it stands at the moment
This company said that because the retrogession the green card take at least 3 years of waiting! But that they have contat with some hospitals that have permission for the visa H1B, so if I was elect by the hospital I would go to USA with the visa and after 3 months I would ask adjustment status and wait the 3 years for the green card!!
Would run from them. H1B has been discussed a few times and as a general rule nurses do not come under it and when the visas come out they are gone in hours and each year less and less amount of visas are allocated. Also retrogression is affecting the AOS route and after the huge volume filed in July (again this has been discussed) can't see that route opening up for a couple of years. Sorry but they are giving you the wrong information.
There is the H1C which again has been discussed on here and is not a recommended route as there are only approx 15 hospitals in the US that use them and have staffing and security issues and if you loose your job you have x amount of days to find a hospital with H1C status to take your visa on if not you have to leave
I would suggest a really good read in this forum
