Hi! I interviewed with the program last week. The interview is conducted over Google Audio. There were about four faculty members on the call, and all participated in the interview questions. During the interview, I received questions like "explain what you know about Norepinephrine. Tell me about a time you worked with a difficult co-worker, and how you handled it. Why do you want to be an Anesthesia provider in the military?”
The panel does not prompt you on knowledge, so be sure to extrapolate as much nursing knowledge as possible. I.e., Norepinephrine is a vasoactive agent that is used in septic shock, stimulates alpha-1 and beta-1 receptors... and so on. The interview roughly took 20ish minutes. I was informed that offers should be sent out in October.
During the same day, I received an acceptance into the US Army's Anesthesia program (USAGPAN), so I will be pursuing the Army route.
Best of luck on your journey!
Respectfully,
Alex
