UNF Summer 2014 BSN hopefuls

Published

Hi everyone!

With the deadline only a little over a month away, I figured we all need a place to stress, hope and worry! I just took my first stab at the TEAS and hit the average score of the past few years (335). I have a 3.9 GPA. One pre-req left. Applying for ABSN. I'm scheduled for a second TEAS attempt next month. How is everyone else doing? Drooling over stats as much as I am?? Any interview preparation plans?

Mrsdatty, does anyone from waitlist ever get into an accelerated slot or generally only the regular program?

I think there is a chance, but only if someone in front of you in regular but eligible for accelerated doesn't take it

Hey guys! I got accepted into the accelerated program!! Can't wait to meet you all and get started!!

finally updated, waitlist. I wonder if we're able to see where we are on the waitlist....

Did you apply anywhere else, Lindsay? I'm wondering how many are on waitlist. I can't remember what Beth said

Has anyone started a Facebook page for accelerated?!

What freaks me out is I have no service when I'm in class! I'm so scared she'll call while I'm in the lab

Waitlisters, don't leave me! Haha the accepted will undoubtedly move on to the facebook but I'm still here for you!!

She said she will leave a vm and an email and you have 24 hours to get back with them, so don't worry!!!

hellonursh.. did you apply to any other programs in FL? I am still waiting on USF and UMiami. Thankfully USF didn't require TEAS score which I think makes sense since tons of research shows that those standardized tests are completely outdated and do nothing to show someone's potential. To be honest, no schools out in New England require TEAS. They go based on GPA, resume, experience, etc. Anyway, I'll still visit this just to see how you made out. And who knows, if by some off chance I get from waitlist to accelerated than that'd be awesome.

still departmental refer... should we take it as good or bad?

I'm with you :/

Me too, eek! I can't handle much more today

Yes!!!!!! Lexi! congratulations!! Now between UCF & UNF, huh??

Did you check your program??? Accelerated or regular?? So exciting!!!

Yes exactly! Though I believe my first choice is still UNF.. the program is just amazing. I believe accelerated, that's what it says on the students tab?? I'm not sure where exactly to look and it just says admit on the application page.
