I did not get a call but interviewed and these are my stats:
RN for 15 years, ICU for 13.5 (37yrs old)
MSN GPA 3.8
gre 303/3.5
A’s in all sciences
working as an APRN the last 1.5 years. However, did go back and start working covid ICU in January on contract to show I had current experience Bc I had been working as an APRN.
was previously in the army usagpan program in 2017 and suffered a PE and had to withdraw from being so ill. I had all A/B’s first 2 semesters of didactic. And had letter of recommendation from the Col. that is the program director for the army.
They mentioned children to me and I stated I had a special needs child and that UNF not only is a supportive school from what I heard, but there is also 3 special education schools in Jacksonville and I wanted to make sure not only my educational needs were met but also that of my children. Then then asked if I would have issues going to clinical sites Bc of my kids. I said absolutely not, I have a very strong support system and ultimately I was just doing 90 hours a week in the army CRNA program with no issues. I would have thought that would have proven something. I guess not. Really think me having a special needs child and my age deterred them.

Thanks. Where did you hear that calls could possibly go out tonight as well? I just assumed all calls were made yesterday.
I have not. There was an email from Ms. Hayes stating:
“At the appropriate time, you will be provided with additional information regarding schedules, registration procedures and other administrative matters.
If you choose to accept this offer, you must reply in writing to Ms. Hayes prior to August 1, 2021. E-mail communication is fully acceptable and preferred [email protected] Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your admission to UNF and your seat in the class being given to another applicant. In addition, be advised that from August 1st forward all written communications are expected to be conducted by electronic mail. Therefore, all accepted students must set up and check their UNF email prior to that date.”
I emailed my formal acceptance and never received a follow up email. Hope this helps!
