Hi,
I've been accepted into the GRU CRNA Program and I'm registered for UNE's Online Organic Chemistry I. Could anyone please advise on how best to prepare for the final exam that is 70 percent of your grade?
Deepest thanks,

So I have a crazy question but exactly why are you taking organic chem when you have already been accepted into the CRNA program?? b/c most only require basic chem.. and our course anyway you take a biochem class in the program.. so i'm just wandering how organic chem would benefit you to much?
Hi UABsleeperSRNA,
It's a new requirement for the GRU Program. If you look here: Program: Master of Science in Nursing with a Major in Nursing Anesthesia - Georgia Regents University - Acalog ACMSâ„¢ yet it is vague. However, the Admissions Staff informed me to take Org. Chem I as it will help me in the first semester.
I'm I making sense?
Thanks!

Undergraduate or graduate chemistry course with a minimum grade of “B” this is from their website.. and i just finished my first semester of CRNA school and i have also taken chem 1, chem 2, and organic chem 1 but only because i was premed before going to nursing school.. and i will tell you organic chem 1 is not a pre-requirement for crna school and in my opinion will not help you very much with the course work or concepts you will learn as an SRNA! I also saw your other post about biology 2.. pretty sure most BSN schools don't even require this.. Biology 2 is a class i took my second year in college so.. I don't know why you would come on here and tell people your in CRNA school and i don't know your situation but.. I do know their are a lot of people that work really really hard to get into these schools and are unable to.. i think it's kind of disrespectful that you come on here and act like you are if your really not?..
I mean come on man.. but on a brighter note if you are trying to get into CRNA school and you for someone reason want to take a higher level chemistry.. i would suggest a chemistry that's actually more applicable to pharmacology like maybe biochemistry.. that's one that is may actually help and may teach you a little more behind the science about how drugs work and where they work.. instead of just about Carbon and hydrogen bonds ect..

I'm enrolled in GRU CRNA program and I only need 2 intro to chem classes to get me in. You learn all the basic chem you need the first semester of anesthesia school.
Thanks! I am accepted, but I was told by CRNA blogs to take those classes to only help me with my CRNA program at GRU. My apologies if I came across as being disingenuous. My best to you!

I am highly interested in applying for GRU's Nurse Anesthesia program for Fall of 2016. Does anyone happen to have a list of clinical sites available? This information is much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
