I'm working on my application to UND's FNP program. I would appreciate any info or advice from current or past students. Thanks! 0 Likes

Heidi84 Has 7 years experience. Dec 27, 2015 Hi! I ended up applying for the AGNP track and got accepted. I just completed my first semester. So far I am really impressed with UND. It was important to me to attend a brick and mortar University that doesn't just let every person in that applies. The tuition is very reasonable and the faculty has been excellent to work with. 0 Likes
marigoldey Dec 27, 2015 Thanks Heidi! Even though UND is a brick and mortar school, the program is 100% online (save for a 1 week campus visit), correct? Do you know why UND requires 2 semesters each of patho, and pharm? I'm wondering if the material covered in these semester courses is 1/2 of what is covered in a standard advanced patho or pharm semester course? Or, is it 2X the amount of material? Thanks for any additional help Heidi! 0 Likes
Heidi84 Has 7 years experience. Dec 27, 2015 The program has 4 on campus meetings and the rest is all online through a variety of teaching modes, including some live classes via Adobe Connect. The timing of them depends if you go part time or full time. One visit of the 4 total is for a mandatory 2 day orientation. As far as the 2 semesters of patho and pharm, I'm not sure on that as I haven't gotten that far but my guess is the material is split between the 2 semesters (they are listed as Pharm I & II etc.). They are 3 credits each.....I'll ask the full time students and get back to you on that. 0 Likes
marigoldey Dec 27, 2015 Thank you, again, Heidi. Yes, I'd be interested to know. I have also emailed UND, as I want to know if it is 2X the amount of material, or rather, spread over 2X the length......The Psych program does not state 4 on-campus visits, but rather 1. I will double-check I am not misreading that. Thanks again! 0 Likes
