UNCW Family Nurse Practitioner Program

Is there anyone who is in this program or who has a lot of information about it? I have contacted someone in the nursing department at the University of NC at Wilmington and she just directed me to the website (which I already saw). I'm interested in specifics like: What is the actual cost of attendance (uniforms, extra FNP fees, etc.)?; Is the course primarily online (if so, how often do you have to go to campus?)?; and just all the details.

Do you like your classes/professors?

If anyone has any inside info, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a bunch!

Hi there, just curious to see if you found out any more information? I am too looking into applying to UNCW for the FNP program. Thanks!

Nope. No info but I applied. Crossing my fingers!!

Hi, just started the program, so I might not be too great of a resource. But the vast majority of the program is online. You will be required to go to campus at the beginning of each semester and once a month will enrolled in the health assessment course. You wear whatever your preceptor wears, so most likely business/dress clothes and your name tag. So far I really enjoy the program, but it is a lot of work. Hope this helps, let me know if you have anymore questions.
