Hello, my name is Chris and applied for the Summer 2020 start. I figured to open a thread for all of us applicants. I live in Virginia and work as a registered nurse in the ICU at Virginia Hospital Center. Look forward to hearing from y’all.

I also interviewed in the fall and was accepted! I haven't heard anything from the program since giving my deposit either. I did fill out my FAFSA, but haven't done much more to prepare until they give us the next steps. Can't wait to meet you both!

Hey guys, I was recently accepted and was wondering if I could ask you all some advice and areas to live? Also how the program has been so far?

At810, CONGRATS on your acceptance!! So far, our first semester was originally scheduled to be held online...so no issues with that. As far as areas to live, the school offers housing at an affordable rate and I believe some of my out of state classmates use. I believe they're located in Charlotte close to the Main hospital. All this information will be communicated to you. LOL, I'm sorry that wasn't helpful to you. ?

CONGRATS! I recently got accepted as well. As someone else mentioned, the school offers student housing by the hospital (CMC Main) which would probably be convenient once we start clinical. Just depends on your situation and what you’re looking for. Look forward to meeting you next year!

Hi stanleynickels, I was recently accepted into the class of 2021. I was wondering if I could email you and ask some questions on the program ? I have been accepted to other programs and am really leaning towards UNCC and one other program but due to interviews not being in person, no time to talk to current students, and barely any info on the web I’m trying to find people to talk to about their experiences so far!

I don’t think so. Maybe someone will make a FB group for class of 2024 once they do the second round of interviews in Nov?
