Hi! I applied for the Fall 2021 MSN FNP track at Carolina. Has anyone heard anything yet?

I have not heard anything yet, a friend of a friend got accepted as of last week to the FNP program.

I emailed the nursing school to ask when admissions decisions would be announced and she said they’re hoping to get the decisions out by April. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for doing that! I was off on the timing, apparently she got notified back in February! I guess they are rolling acceptances? Seems odd that she got an admission response that early and they’re saying April per your feedback. Oh well, just have to be patient and hopeful I guess ☺️?

Hi all! I applied for the PMHNP track and am anxiously awaiting a decision as well. Hopefully sooner rather than later!

I hope they get back to me before next Friday...that’s when I have to give the other NP Program my decision. Chapel Hill is my first choice. ?

@Ja_levy26 haven’t heard anything yet. I think it’s strange that some people heard back in January and we’re still waiting??‍♀️...hopefully we’ll hear one way or another soon!

How have they been notifying people? Like by email does anyone know? This wait is awful! I really hope it’s by this week!!

I’m not sure, I don’t know anyone else who has applied or been accepted. I’m hoping we hear something by the end of the week! 

A part of me wants to call and ask when they plan on sending decisions out, but the other part is saying be patient! LOL

Same here, haven’t heard of anyone else applying. I heard Duke’s SON application has a portal where you can see where your application is in the process and I like that. With UNC you’re just left out of the know. Hopefully we’ll hear something today or at the latest by the end of this week.??

I know! I wish there was some way to track it, I refuse to call the school again! LOL. Hopefully this week *fingers crossed*
