They have been pulled people from the waitlisted. They said they will stop pulling waitlisted around mid July.

I don't know anyone who got pulled form the Waitlistd but I called UMSON today. They told me so.

@ManiBoi did you get the merit scholarship email? if so, when did you receive it?

For making a student account, I received an email last week about creating the UMID account. They have to send you an email with a specific pin number that you will use to activate your account. I know some people that got the email before me so it sounds like they sent it out in waves. Not sure it the timing of it correlates with date of payment for the security deposit but I got my account info early last week.

I got the merit scholarship yesterday. Did you receive the email after they received your mail with payment receipt and acceptance letter?

BTW CONGRATS!!! Did you get into Baltimore or Shady Grove? And may I ask about your Stats?

Yes I got the email after I confirmed that they received my payment. Give them a call if you're unsure or if you think you should have gotten it already.

I got into Baltimore as a Guaranteed Pathway student from UMCP. My overall cumulative GPA is currently a 3.65 and my current science GPA is a 3.9 (this doesn't include microbiology because I'm taking it right now). I didn't take the TEAs because I didn't have to for my pathway.

What are your stats?

Yes, there's so much to do like applying for the in state tuition. Where are you living? I signed a lease for a Fayette Square apartment.

Hm, thats weird. We don't have to take an additional Microbiology class. Our required science classes are A&P 1 and 2, Chem, and Micro.

I've decided that I'm going to commute since the school isn't that far away from me, and also on campus housing is not that expensive, but is going to come back to bite you.

WOW, THAT WAS QUICK. Usually people wait for their financial aid to kick in, but it seems like UMSON is your dream school. My whole goal of going to there is to pay as little money as I can, and not take any loans. I've done some calculations and living in Fayette Square for all 4 semesters is estimated around $21,000, however tuition and fees for all four semester is also estimated around $33,000. Therefore, you should think about that.
