One more quick question I was rummaging through the threads and read that if your going for UMSL's Accelerated that you can pretty much get in if your GPA is high. Without the wait list? did I interpret that correctly? Please clairify that for me. Thanks again.

You are correct! :) There aren't really any waitlists at UMSL anymore...you're either in or you're not (although you may be on a list if you don't get in...in case someone who DID get in decides not to attend, the next person down who didn't get in will get bumped up into the program). For the accelerated, you need to make sure you have completed all the prerequisite classes, or already have a Bachelor's degree (in any field). I'm in the accelerated program now...only two weeks left in the first semester :) Good luck!! Oh and I think UMSL started an earlier deadline for the accelerated program applications ... I believe sometime in September now. Your best bet is to make an appointment with one of the nursing school advisors there!
