Umass Worcester GEP!! Please reply!

Anyone familiar with UMass Worcester's nursing program? How is it? How difficult is it to be accepted to? I am interested in the Graduate Entry Program. I graduated in 2005 with a 3.62 gpa majoring in Spanish and biology. I am taking the GREs in October. Do you think I will get in? Please let me know what you think!

You probably have more healthcare experience than most applicants. My experience consisted of 3 months of volunteer experience in a hospital. Now, after completing the first year, I have job offer as a per-diem nurse at my internship site. You should be fine.

Like Jalin said, focus on your application and essays. Why do you want to be an NP? Think about any unique experiences in your personal or professional life that put you down this path. If you get an interview, they are pretty straight forward. I didn't find mine to be intimidating in the least.

Also, don't forget to study for your GREs. There is not formal cut off, but shoot for at least 1000.

I have an interview next week at UMass (acute care track)! :)

I was just wondering, after the interview, how long did it take for you guys to receive a decision? UMass is my top choice! I'm so excited about this interview!! Do you guys remember what kinds of questions were asked during the interview?
