UMass Global ABSN 2022 - San Diego

Hello everyone! I am a current LVN that applied for UMass Global's ABSN program back in December to meet the February 15th deadline. Acceptance letters/denials are supposed to go out next week and somehow one other student I applied with for Summer 2022 both got emails today saying that the shortage of clinical sites has caused them to postpone the cohort to Fall 2022 and that our application would be moved to the application period (boo emoji).

 

They didn't mention if we would have to now compete with the students applying for Fall 2022 or if we would still get acceptance letters and be postponed to start in Fall 2022. Anyone else get that same email today and got clarification from their nursing coach or enrollment coach?

We were told we would have to wait until mid-July to see if we got in. They aren’t accepting anymore applicants for Fall 2022 due to moving the Summer 2022 cohort that got cancelled into that slot for review and acceptance. That’s all I know so far.

I got the same email. I withdrew my application because I got accepted into Azusa Pacific University. I have a friend who is in UMASS and after almost 9 months they are just going to clinical. I start mine next week at Azusa after only 6 weeks. Check out APU Upper Division transfer program.

2023 application! 
I have applied last year for the Spring 2023 program and got postponed for Summer 2023. The worst part is that I haven't heated anything from Umass yet. Is there anyone who may be going thought the same thing?

My friend applied for Summer 2023 and just received an email stating umass global will no longer be accepting or admitting applicants for the ABSN program

Gosh I feel like I've missed so many notifications but I got my acceptance letter July 2022 and will be starting May 2023 while my friend whose application for Fall 2022 was pushed from Spring to Summer to now being told that no more applications are being accepted which is heartbreaking ? .

Yep, its ridiculous!! their NCLEX pass rate is 50%. Maybe that's why they won't be offering the program anymore.

Don't give up yall I applied to UMass myself last year and then withdrew my application when my friend who graduates this May was pushed back 6 months! I now attend Azusa Pacific in San Bernardino, it's a drive but I was accepted my first time and I graduate in a year now with my BSN!
