Umass Dartmouth 2017 online accelerated nursing

Just wondering if anyone applied to the accelerated nursing program at Umass Dartmouth for 2017? Has anyone heard back yet? :-)

I haven't heard anything yet either! My status is still the same also. I did receive accpetance into another school so that's exciting!!! However, I do wish I had heard back from UMD, something...anything! :-/

I was accepted elsewhere as well, but umass is my first choice. I'm just dying over here thinking the worst, haha.

I'm in same boat! UMD is my absolute first choice as well! :( I've checked my status about 100x day! I even tried to contact the department, I hate to bother Alexandra in admissions again, I feel like a complete haunt!! This is tormenting to say the least!

You're absolutely right! It is tormenting. I have been checking constantly too. I deleted my app so I couldn't check every minute of the day. I emailed and called Umass and neither were helpful. My only hope is that they didn't send out all the accepted letters yesterday and we are the rejected crew. I cannot help but make jokes about it because I just cannot sleep or eat. It's been 10 weeks today since the application deadline which is quite a long time to me!

So I called admissions today and Alexandra told me that admission decisions were sent out today and it sounded like they were mailed. Also, I was told that there should be a link around the application status online (but I'm not seeing the link). Also, my application decision was changed to "This application is complete" online sooooo I'm just puzzled. What I don't understand is why some were notified online and others have not.

I also called today and Alexandra told me that I would be hearing very very soon. I was also on the waitlist last year and unfortunately did not make the cohort. She said that we will get an email very soon and to just keep checking that and the application status. So I checked my application status again and mine also changed to this application is complete.

Mine hasn't changed at all, it still says "the office of admissions has received your application" and I know mine is complete because I've confirmed receipt of everything. Odd. Well unfortunately, I'm guessing at this point its not going to be good news for me! :( Looks like I'll more than likely be going with option "B" (another school). :( Very sad! I've worked very hard, like I'm sure all of you! I wish you all the best of luck!!!! Still keeping my fingers crossed for you!

So...I just spoke with someone within the Department of Nursing over at UMD and was told I was missing two pre-reqs when I in-fact confirmed with Alexandra, on countless occasions, that I was only missing one! Apparently they never "received" one of my transcripts! Although I was just recommended to apply next year, I've decided to move on and go with another school. Therefore, after outweighing the pros and cons (and after being rejected, lol), I'm walking away from UMD! :( Bitter sweet! Again, good luck to all of you!!! Wishing you all much success!! "hugs"
