Umass Boston traditional BSN spring2013?

hey everyone :)

I see no threads on those who applied to Umass boston traditional bsn program for spring 2013 so i wanted to start this one. Has anyone applied to the program? Im sure i cant be the only one lol. I got a letter about 3wks ago stating i made it to the application pool. Anyone else?

Hey guys! I applied for the nursing program for fall 2013 too :) my status changed to a decision has been made over a week ago, so I really hope I get my letter soon. I'm super anxious! For the people that got in, if you don't mind me asking, what were your GPA and TEASV scores?

I just received my acceptance letter today. My GPA was 3.70 (Associates of Science) and my TEAS score was 75%

Thank you! My GPA is a 3.2, but I got an 82.7 on the TEAS so I'm hoping that my high score will balance by lower GPA. I'm nervous, I hope I get my letter soon. But congratulations on your acceptance! :)

To be honest it seems like so many different GPA's and TEAS scores of quite a variety are accepted so I like you, didn't know what to think. I just received a rejection letter from MCPHS yesterday so that made me nervous of my 3.7 GPA not being high enough but surely that wasn't the case, they just found applicants with more pre-req's completed (I was 2 short that I'm in the process of). I had a 3.4 GPA with almost all the pre-reqs. And my TEAS test score was a 74% Good luck!

Hey everyone!

I applied as a transfer nursing student for the fall 2013 semester and I got my acceptance letter yesterday!! I have a 3.4 GPA and got a 90 on the TEAS. Umass told me at open house that they mainly take students who have 3.5 GPA's and above, but that obviously isn't definite since I got in. Good luck to all of you!!

I applied as a transfer student. Gpa is 3.61 and Teas score was 86.7% overall. Science: 77.1%, math: 96.1% Congratulations everyone!
