Hi! I haven’t been able to find a page for University of Miami’s ABSN Spring 2020 application cycle, so I thought I’d start one for those applying to support one another and provide personal insight! Has anyone applied yet/heard anything back? Fingers crossed for all of you!

I applied early April 2019 and just received an acceptance letter via email on 6/21.

@Jana725 congrats to you too!! I ended up finding another page on here just called “University of Miami 2020” where people are talking about our cohort, if you want to check that one out lol. Someone mentioned possibly making a fb page for those accepted

Hi Everyone!

I just received my acceptance on Canelink. I'll be moving from California.

The process was pretty fast for me. I applied on June 20th.

Stats:

3.45 cum gpa

4.0 pre req gpa

CNA certification & 100+ hours as a hospice volunteer

I just submitted my application today. My transcripts and everything have been already verified by NursingCAS and 2 of the professors I requested letters from already submitted them. I am hoping to hear back soon, as the deadline is August 1st! I hope to see all of you in the Spring :)

You should try filling out a roommate profile on UM website it helped me a lot with finding a roomie and stuff.

Hi! I was just accepted for the ABSN Summer 2021 program. I was wondering if you could tell me a bit more about the program. What is the class/clinical schedule like? What is the experience like with covid? Are a lot of classes remote learning or are they mostly in person still? How hard is the program? I know it will not be easy, but do you feel that the assessments and work load are fair? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
