Hey everyone. I'm a newly qualified registered nurse in the UK. My partner is also a nurse. We're really wanting to move to Canada but we can't find a definitive answer on how we can do this.
We've looked into OMNI College in Vancouver as an option, but paying this amount of money for tuition with no guarantee of a job is very high risk.
How would we go about moving without going via the study route? Is it possible?
any information is really appreciated!

Try contacting the provincial nursing board if you are already a RN/LPN. I am originally from Vancouver but live in Alberta now. We have lots of IENs (internationally educated nurses). I attached a link for Alberta Nursing Association. Maybe this will give you some guidelines or they can put you in the right direction. https://albertanursing.ca/ien-resources/
All the IENs I've worked with none of them went to a private college to come to Canada. They're provided mentorship and additional training/education from employer etc.
Also Vancouver is Very expensive. Beautiful but expensive. Do your research before you apply to these private colleges that promise you the world. It's a money grab in my opinion. Hope this info helps. https://www.nnas.ca/

The starting point would be applying to the NNAS.
