Hi guys!

So I just got my decision letter on January 19, 2018 and I am now on the last steps of my registration for UK. My employer told me that they submitted my application for CoS on that same month. However, it is now already March 21 and I am still yet to hear about the results of my CoS. My girlfriend's CoS came just a few days after she got her decision letter on January. She flew to London last March 2.

Can anyone please give me an idea about why there is a delay with my CoS? And also, my IELTS UKVI expires on May. I badly need any advice and assurances I can get at this point.

Hi! Since when have you been waiting for the COS? I've been waiting for mine since January.

Same! I got my DL in 50 days but been waiting for this CoS for almost 3 mos now.

Who's your contact person? Maybe yours is already out and they're just waiting for the holy week to pass. The last message I got from them is that they are not sure if mine was applied by the trust and that they're still checking. I got so upset because i was determined to widthraw the application even before they took the documents they need for the CoS but they convinced me to stay by reassuring that my trust (Frimley) sends the cos on time. Now, i cant even push through with the other trust im eyeing on because i cannot reach any of them to cancel that application.

I actually don't know who is my contact person, i just send emails to all of them. Yeah, I hope it is just because of the Holy Week. If not I will definitely withdraw my application even if it means I will reapply to other agency or trust and additional delays. If you want want to withdraw, you still can actually, they can withraw the CoS application if it didn't come through this month.

Im withdrawing my application already. There are trusts offering ready COS for the month of April. Im just gonna try my luck with them. Did you get yours?

Still nothing. I'm actually considering withdrawing my application too. My agency has stopped responding to my emails. Very frustrating.

Hello guys, I got my DL last March 6 and finished my medical before the holy week. I do not know that waiting for the COS also creates tension. I am still waiting for a feedback about it from my agency in UK.

Hello! As you may know, applications for COS that's submitted after the 5th of the month will be processed on the 11th of the following month. So in your case, you can expect it to be released after the 11th of April. The usual dates of release are between the 18th and 25th of the month. However, that is if there are no problems with your agency or the home office. In our case, we've been waiting for more than a few months already to no avail.

Hopefully you dont end up like one of us. It can get really frustrating for sure.

Hi bro! I would highly suggest that you post your concern on a new thread. As I understand it, your issue is about visa processing from another country, Saudi Arabia in your case, to UK. I'm pretty sure there are other applicants who went through the same course as you. Hopefully, your post will give you and others the answer that you need.

Hi colleagues, I have been waiting for my COS until as per my agency the hospital has submitted my application to the home office last May 4, 2018 and I'm really getting worried as it is now the 4th of June and I still don't have any update on the status, by the way I have already resigned (as they instructed me to do so because they told me the COS is expected to arrive by the 26th of May) I am really getting worried about it. The agency is fully aware of the expiry of my documents as well as my IELTS which will be expired by August 20. Can someone enlighten me on what could be the possible cause of delay or what can I do about it?

Hi!

I can totally relate to what you what you are going through right now. Like you, I also had to wait for a few months before finally deciding to transfer to another employer. As it turned out, my previous employer wasn't able to post my job, which was required by the home office to issue a COS. In short, it was my previous employer's fault that my COS got rejected. Luckily for me, a friend was able to refer me to another employer, which was able to submit an application for COS at the last minute. Any later than that, then some of my documents would have already expired (NBI, UKVI).

As to your case, I highly suggest that you talk to your employer about your COS. A little pressure on them wouldn't hurt. Your COS was supposed to be released before the end of May, since it was submitted before 5 May. Also, keep yourself open to other employers which may have a spare COS on them.
