UIW 2017 Spring Nursing Applicant TEAS V scores and GPAs

Welcome everyone! I'm starting this forum to find out who all has applied to the University of Incarnate Word nursing program for spring 2017. Feel free to respond with your desired school of choice, your TEAS V scores, and GPAs for science/overall. This is an opportunity for everyone to find out what we're really up against! Haha same! They emailed the other day asking for another unofficial transcript with my grades for my summer classes. So I asked around when we'd hear from them and just got a "the committee is currently reviewing applicants"

Yes it is! Couldn't apply to uthscsa because I have pre reqs in progress and the only other program I was looking at was Texas states but they don't have a spring start so UIW is the only one I applied to. What about you?

I'm in the same boat. I'm taking my final pre-reqs now! I guess if I don't get in, I'll apply everywhere I can next time around! I'm being optimistic though! I believe we will all make it! :)

Hi everyone! I too applied to UIW for the Spring 2017. I emailed the secretary earlier this month to see when we would know the admission decision. The program chair responded and told me, "We expect to notify applicants of our decisions by late September." I hope that can calm some of your nerves!! Good luck to everyone! :)

Eeeeek! Late September seems so far away! My roommate also got an email asking for her summer transcript to be sent over! She told me the same thing about the committee reviewing applicants. I also applied to UTHSCSA and I'm supposed to hear back next Friday before 5 PM! Needless to say, I am very nervous!

Thank you! :) However, I heard UIW has higher NCLEX passing rates compared to UTHSCSA.
