UIC DNP Interview

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I am wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the UIC DNP program has any tips/information about what to expect during the interview process and the best way to prepare?

thanks!

Hey!

I'm interviewing for UIC's DNP as well. Not quite sure if the interview is a group setting or not, and wasn't able to find any info from old threads about the interview setup. Anyone else know anything about this??

I actually just interviewed and I interviewed alone/not in a group setting. It was a very casual, conversational interview. It focused on your past experiences and what led you to wanting to go back to school now, why you feel you will be successful in the program, the roles of an ANP, and other similar type interview questions. The interviews were in 30 minute blocks, but I think mine went about 40 minutes. Hope to hear back soon!

Thank you so much for your response! Good luck to both of you =))

I interview later this week for the UIC DNP program, good luck to everyone as well! What program are you all applying to?

I had my interview today! It was one-on-one, very casual and comfortable! Good luck everyone!

Hello All!! I have my interview in March on the 2nd. I was wondering if any of you were applying to the rockford campus and if the interviews were the same for all campuses?

I interviewed back in February at the Peoria campus for the FNP cohort. Has anyone heard anything yet?

Still haven't heard anything. I've never checked my email so compulsively before. Have yall heard anything yet??
