You were supposed to log into your application status page and pay the "enrollment deposit" -- the $250 fee. It's the same as the "tuition deposit" that we were supposed to receive a token for. I emailed someone at UIC and they clarified for me. It was due on the 21st, though.

Anyway I have a question regarding the packet. is all of the details for orientation and other requirements come in other packet. I received my welcoming packet but it doesn't have no specifics other than responding to the intent to enroll by June 17th. Can we get a better way to communicate? all nurses.com is great but we we cant get quick response.

Hi Magdalena, my name is Sabrina.

In the packet, I got a letter stating that New Student Orientation for the Chicago campus will be held on June 21st. It also states that it is required for all newly admitted students, and to plan to be available the entire day.

Hello! Does ANYONE know when orientation is? I've emailed three different people with no direct answer.

In the packet I received a paper stating, "New Student Orientation for the Chicago campus will be held on June 21st. Attendance is required of all newly admitted students."

When I called the orientation number for UIC, the guy told me it was for first-year students only. I asked if it was for transfer students going into the College of Nursing. He told me no, that he didn't know where I was getting the information from, and that I should call CON. So that's what I did.

The lady that answered at CON seemed just as confused. First, she said it was sometime in August. When I clarified the paper I received was incorrect, she said "well if that's what the paper says then that's when it is and you have to wait for more information."

If that's the case, then orientation is in 9 days. I don't know about anyone else, but I need proper time to request days off from work. I would just like a straight answer.
