UH Manoa Fall 2017

Anyone else applied to UH Manoa's Fall 2017 BSN Program? I haven't seen any posts on allnurses from other applicants. If you did, I wish all of us good luck! :) Does anyone know when we'll start getting notified about their decision?

i was wondering if you got in- what your pre req grades were and your teas??

and if anyone knows about the alternate list like how many people/ the chances of making it in once on that list let me know.

@mermaidnurse1 I got in. I have my GPA and test scores posted at the beginning of this thread. I think it's important to get at least an 80% or higher on the teas along with a 3.7 or above. Take the teas more than once. To study, you should purchase practice teas tests from the teas website. Those really helped me. They were extremely similar to the actual teas test.

I know someone who got a 79 and is on the waitlist and someone who got an 80 and made it in. Both with high gpas. Sorry I don't have info on numbers or chances. Good luck!

don't remember my TEAS score's exactly. but its important that you simply pass the teas, focus on your gpa!

Congratulations to all of you that were accepted! I will be applying for Fall 2018. Do you mind posting your GPAs and TEAS scores upon application? I'm wondering if my GPA is high enough.

Do you know how they tell people if they got in from the alternate list? Is it a letter or a phone call/email?

Hi y'all! I got in when I was put on the alternative list in fall 2014. My cGPA was 3.4 and my pGPA was 3.7. I got an email of my acceptance
