UFV January 2018 Applicants

Hello fellow potential UFV Nursing students,

I have completed my application for Winter 2018 BSN intake and I thought that I would start a thread for open discussions, what marks everyone is applying with, concerns and such. Good luck to everyone!

Got my invite too, aaaahhhh so excited and nervous at the same time for the essay question! Any ideas what the essay topic will be?

I have not received an invite email for the information session(s) for this Wednesday and/or Thursday yet, does that mean I don't qualify for the January intake ?? :(

Did anyone with 3 A's and 1 B get an invitation? I had bio12 B, eng 105 A, math095 A+, chem 11 A. Over a year and a half of work experience supporting individuals with disabilities and developmental issues, plus about 60 hours of weekly volunteering in a hospital ambulatory clinic over about a year in length. I feel like my stats were a bit borderline as far as how competitive they made my application., but I figured it was possible. Anyway, I didn't hear anything back at all. Does anyone know if/wheb they send out final notices of rejection?

I got 3As and 1B too. I havent received anything as well. :(

I applied with 3As and 1B and got an invite to the info session!!

You will get an email next week telling what held you back for your application, what to improve and all that.

also, what have you guys been doing to prepare for the essay? I have no idea where to even start

Ive looked on other forums and got some questions they could possibly ask, but I have no clue what they will be for sure

I thought they would send out e-mails if you're not invited to the info session......I guess try calling health sciences to see, maybe there was a mix-up!

I've also applied with 3As and 1B and ~100 volunteer hours and got invited to the info session. I would certainly call, as in previous

threads some applicants have had similar issues with applications.

I've been trying to prepare for the essay question as well. Any suggestions on what good topics or questions might be?
